DAY 1: OSLO
Arrival in Oslo. Free transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 2: DFDS
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning meeting with the guide and the start of the Oslo tour with a local guide. You will visit Frogner Park, home to Gustav Vigeland's controversial sculptures. Exterior visits to the Royal Palace, City Hall, and the medieval fortress of Akershus. Later, transfer to the port and boarding the DFDS motorship for a pleasant ferry crossing to the Danish capital, offering a chance to admire the magnificent Oslo Fjord, approximately 100 km long. Accommodation in booked cabins. Buffet dinner with 1 included drink and overnight stay on board.
DAY 3: COPENHAGEN
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation and guided city tour with special attention to its most important monuments: the Little Mermaid, Gefion Fountain, the Royal Residence in Amalienborg Palace, the characteristic Nyhavn canal with numerous outdoor restaurants and cafes, the Parliament Palace, and Rosenborg Castle, home to the Crown Jewels (external visit). Free time in the afternoon. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 4: JÖNKÖPING (300 km)
Breakfast at the hotel and morning departure for Helsingør. Drive along Strandvejen, the coastal road once characterized by fishing villages and picturesque rural villages, transformed into vacation and residential destinations by Copenhagen residents in the last century, and now constituting Denmark's wealthiest and most attractive municipalities. In Helsingør, you will see the famous Kronborg Castle (external visit), known as Hamlet's Castle, as it was here that Shakespeare set his masterpiece. Ferry crossing to Helsingborg and continuation to Jönköping. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 5: STOCKHOLM (320 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Continue north to reach Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, built on fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren meets the Baltic Sea. Upon arrival, free time. Overnight stay at the hotel.DAY 6: STOCKHOLMBreakfast at the hotel. Guided city tour. Start from Fjällgatan for a magnificent panoramic view of the city. Then, admire the old town with its charming cobblestone streets, the royal palace, the cathedral, and the City Hall, which hosts the annual gala for the Nobel Prizes. Free time in the afternoon. DAY 7: NAVIGATION
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time in the morning. In the afternoon, transfer by bus to the port of Stockholm and boarding the Tallink Silja Line motorship for Helsinki. Buffet dinner with 1 included drink and overnight stay on board.
DAY 8: HELSINKI
Breakfast on board. Disembarkation in Helsinki and guided city tour, known as the "white city of the North" due to the light color of many buildings. Helsinki overlooks the Gulf of Finland, surrounded by numerous islets, offering an impression of extreme cleanliness, with numerous green areas, large tree-lined avenues, and constructions in white granite. Free time in the afternoon. We recommend visiting the Kamppi Chapel of Silence and the new Amos Rex art museum, inaugurated in 2018, with its distinctive architecture. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 9: TALLINN
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by bus to the port for boarding the Silja motorship to Tallinn. Upon arrival, transfer by private bus to the hotel. In the afternoon, a walking tour of the capital of Estonia, which, in the historic center, preserves the atmosphere of medieval cities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 10: RIGA (311 km)
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Riga: along the way, a short stop in Pärnu, a traditional resort and spa town in southern Estonia. Arrival in Riga and city tour: in 1997, the historic center was included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List, thanks to its over 800 Art Nouveau buildings (German Jugendstil) and the 19th-century wooden architecture. The perfectly preserved medieval area revolves around St. Peter's Church. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
