The Kalithea spring, located 8 km northeast of the medieval city of Rhodes, is located within the homonymous bay and next to the beautiful beach of Kallithea. Already since antiquity, the curative power of these waters was known. In 1927 the construction of an architectural complex was ordered, which was awarded for its beautiful composition and large spaces, where we can see staircases, terraces and patios with beautiful stone mosaics. In 2007 the site was again opened and opened to the public after being closed and in the process of restoration since 1967. Today we can enjoy all its splendor and grandeur with its open terraces to the bay, where we find one of the most picturesque beaches of Rhodes. This beach is without a doubt one of the most picturesque of northern Rhodes. Its charm lies in its beautiful surroundings, with a landscape surrounded by pines and palm trees, highlighting its promenade created by natural terraces of stone, and from where we can dive in its crystalline waters against the backdrop of the beautiful dome of the spa of Kallithea (Kalithea). It gives it a certain oriental air and we have the sensation of being in a kind of Arabian oasis.
