The hotel‘s condition was alright, especially in midtown Manhattan. However, there are so many hidden fees that I was completely not informed of. For example, there is a mandatory “destination fee” of $35 each day and you can only use this money before 12am or you will lose it. The breakfast cost $36 each person and you cannot use it on the grocery downstairs so basically it’s worthless. Then the parking is even more ridiculous. I was told that the rate was around 60-70/day so I thought it was alright but eventually they charged me $200 more for “parking overnight”! Who would park at a hotel if it’s not an overnight parking?! Complete madness!

Check in was not smooth, staff are arrogant and entitled. Not the usual Marriott standard. Building is surrounded by scaffolding. Manager was indifferent to any feedback about missing check in items and staff.
